Port of Ystad AB is responsible for all activities in the harbor, and strive to manage, operate and administer it as efficiently as possible.

As one of the biggest ferry ports of Ystad, Sweden, the Port is a natural gateway to the island of Bornholm and Poland and further into Central Europe. With its strategic location on the Swedish south coast port of Ystad also plays an important role in the transport industry and as a supplier to the Swedish business community.

Ferry traffic is one of the key activities for the Ystad port and ferries has been a hallmark of the city since the 40ies, when a continuous traffic began between Ystad and Bornholm. Both the distance between Ystad – Bornholm and Ystad – Poland, passenger traffic had a steady growth since its inception, a development that is expected to continue in the future.
