Jone Sestakauskaite has joined the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania as the new Managing Director as of 4th of November 2016. The SCC Board welcomes Jone as member of the team and hopes that she will take part in and meaningfully contribute to Association’s successful further development of strategic goals, as well as a smooth and professional implementation of Members’ needs and expectations.
Meanwhile, Jone briefly about herself and the mission:
“I am honored and happy to join the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania! Since I have spent half of my life in Sweden, I speak fluently Swedish and know both the Lithuanian and the Swedish cultures very well. I hope this can be a great asset in my everyday work for the Chamber. During my most recent 3,5 years of my stay in Vilnius, I worked as Policy Officer at the Embassy of Sweden in Vilnius. My tasks at the embassy have included organizing events, project coordination, cooperation and networking with various governmental institutions in Sweden and Lithuania, political monitoring, as well as overall response of embassy’s communication via the social media channels. As a person I am curious, creative, fond of challenges, communicative and a true team player. I hope my competencies will be of value to all Members of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania. I am looking very much forward to meeting you all!”
